Paint -before and after pics. :)

I took way, way too many pictures of our recent kitchen painting. I have before, during, and after shots. Fifteen pictures total. I don't want the LO to be more than a two page spread so I will have to choose a lot less but it's gonna be HARD. The pics. can't be cut down or they won't make sense. What's a girl to do? So many are "must include" pics. LOL

Now I gotta be honest... I'm pretty timid about posting pics. of my house. I'm not ashamed of it, we built our house from the ground up but we were under a bit of duress. We didn't get to do a lot of thinking and planning. We had a young kid and we needed a place STAT! That being said, everything in my home is not so-so. There is a LOT that I would change about it now that I am older/wiser but it's my house nonetheless. It won't win any awards but it keeps us warm and dry. LOL

Anyway! The colors are a bit off in these. The paint is not quite as dark as it looks in the during picture but it's also not as light/RED as it looks in the last after picture either. Think a dark berry maroon? So there they are. Our old blue paint was ok for a while but it was a flat paint and let me tell you. Every time the walls were touched it left the fingerprints! If you look you can see black scuff marks. Lord only knows where those came from! It was more that I hated how every smudge showed up more than anything, but I did also want a new color. The house feels so much warmer and inviting now. I've hung new curtains, got a couple really funky multicolored vases and pictures and I just love it- at least for now. LOL

To ebay

or not to ebay?
Lately I've been struggling with the idea of selling on ebay again. It would be very part time, mind you. I'm not getting wrapped up in the rat race of spending countless hours making product and getting ZIP made for my own books!
If I take the plunge again I think I will start off with some card sets. Like these in the picture.
What do you think? Should I go for it again or just leave it alone?

It's a sickness I tell ya.

This is what I got in the mail today. Yes, moooooooore Primas! But I gotta say these are a necessary purchase. Think how cute these will be as centers for the larger flowers. Am I right? Of course I am! LOL They'd also be simply smashing as a floral vine on a LO. I don't make many cards but I think they'd be awesome for cards as well. Anywho, these are called the Sweet N Sassy flowers. Run out and get yourself some. :) Join me in my addiction. LMBO

It never fails...

You probably recognize these letters. They are Alphabet Soup letters by KI Memories. Now, I had been wanting these for a LONG time but honestly $13 is a bit expensive for 46 measly letters! I just refused to pay it. LOL
Then as time went on I kept seeing them on layouts and wishing I had some. Wishing, wishing.
Finally I decided it was obvious that I was always going to wish I had some so I gave in and decided to order a can, or two. (whistles and looks at the ground.) LOL

I told Nikki, and I quote: "Now watch. Now that I've finally broken down and ordered some I bet someone somewhere will have them on clearance for half price soon."
No sooner said than done! Yep, I was looking online today and came across a store that was selling them for $6.25 a can!!! Can you say DOH! I feel so ripped off. lol
I HATE to pay retail when I could've had the same product for half. As soon as I decided to bite the bullet it goes on clearance the next day.
It never fails.
